For months, fans of Starz’s hit series Outlander suffered through #Droughtlander, eagerly awaiting the premiere of the second half of the season. To end the dry spell, Hothouse determined that the best reward of all would be to transport fans into the world of Claire and Jamie, giving them the opportunity to see their favorite show long before it hit the TV screen.

On April 1, we activated a simultaneous 10-city series of theater screenings across the U.S., from LA to Phoenix to Philly. Our concept brought 18th Century Scotland to life, complete with kilt-clad brand ambassadors, lush greenery, flickering lanterns and of course, a bagpiper. A socially-connected photo experience allowed attendees to ham it up with the main characters and share their #TartanAffair out to their networks immediately, maximizing our exposure and reach.
