On Tuesday evening, November 15, Hothouse was honored to help Atlanta United FC unveil their inaugural home kit for the 2017 expansion season with an epic launch event before a packed house of supporters at The Tabernacle in Atlanta.

More than just a kit reveal, the event was an opportunity for the club to celebrate a historic milestone in the team’s inaugural season, and — more importantly — to thank the fans and Founding Members who made it possible.

With a mission to ‘unite and conquer’ the city with passion, inspiration and world-class soccer, Atlanta United introduced an iconic, timeless kit in the club’s core colors of black, victory red and gold — and which prominently displayed the logo of the team’s jersey sponsor — American Family Insurance.

Streamed on Facebook Live, the event was hosted by MLSsoccer.com’s Susannah Collins, and featured an array of distinguished speakers that included Kasim Reed, the Honorable Mayor of Atlanta, Atlanta United Team Owner Arthur Blank, President Darren Eales, Technical Director Carlos Bocanegra and Jack Salzwedel, CEO of American Family Insurance.

After thanking the fans for their passion and the inspiring example they’ve set for the club, a hype video raised the level of anticipation as three figures walked onto the stage disguised by a mesmerizing sea of rolling red fog.

The fog dissipated to reveal Atlanta United players Tito Villalba, Chris McCann and Andrew Carleton –sporting the black and red striped inaugural home kits – as confetti filled the venue and exhilarated supporters erupted into cheers.

After the dynamic reveal experience, the event went onto break a record for kit sales by an MLS expansion club as Atlanta United supporters lined up to be among the first to purchase their club’s inaugural home jerseys.
