What is your role at Hothouse?
I’m an account manager at Hothouse. I work with a variety of clients that keep things interesting! I also enjoy the different team members that I get to work with on a daily basis. I work directly with our creative team, our project managers and our tech team. It’s really cool to be able to get glimpse of their world. One of my favorite things about Hothouse is how closely we all work together and how tight-knit our teams are.
How long have you worked here?
Two years in May. I actually started as a copywriter, but quickly found my way to the account team. I like the flexibility that comes with being an Account Manager. I get to touch a variety of clients and projects. Hothouse also does a great job of allowing its people to explore different teams and areas of expertise.
What award would you win, if Hothouse gave out awards?
Most likely to show up first when the “free food announcement” is made. Pizza, cheese platter, fresh pot of coffee…you name it, I’m there. #noshame
What does a typical day look like for you, and what are you currently working on?
The best thing about working at Hothouse is that there is no “typical” day. When you get to work on so many different clients (I have 6 right now) you literally never know what the day is going to hold! It prevents you from getting stagnant, and you always get to flex new muscles.
Given a chance, who would you like to be for a day?
I would sincerely like to be one of Queen Elizabeth’s corgis. I think they get treated better than most people, and that’s treatment that I would like to experience at least once in my life.
