Hothouse designed and coded a unique social hub for five of FOX Sports 1’s partners, aggregating content across many of FS1’s platforms. Match highlights and clips kept the excitement happening on the pitch in the forefront of visitors’ minds, while the day’s schedule drove people straight to watch live on FOX Sports GO. Shareable infographics surfaced the need-to-know facts about the Women’s World Cup, amplifying social impact via Twitter and Facebook. And since today’s soccer fan doesn’t discriminate when it comes to devices, the hub’s responsive design performed at a world-class level across desktop, tablet and smartphones alike.
Mapping Out the Matches
A key factor when it comes to tuning in to a game? You have to know when that game is on. A major feature of the Women’s World Cup hub was the ability to sign up for match reminders. Simply enter an email address or mobile number and notifications of the day’s face-offs would be sent straight to the fan.

No penalties here. Making FOX’s first event in partnership with FIFA a striking success, our homepage and social media sprint garnered 2.5 million impressions, 20,000 click-throughs, and over 10,000 unique site visits.
