A video that Lyfts up Atlanta artists

As ride-sharing services take over our cities, brand differentiation becomes a top priority. Lyft enlisted the Hothouse video team to create content that illustrates what makes the company different. For Lyft, that difference is supporting its drivers, many of which are up-and-coming hip-hop artists, musicians and rappers. To empower their aspirations, Lyft opened a recording studio in its ATL headquarters that all drivers had access to.

Our crew shot Lyft’s recording studio launch event featuring rapper Young Joc and two Atlanta-based artists (who are drivers, of course). The video created buzz to get drivers excited about joining the Lyft family, and connect with potential drivers on an emotional level. Most important, it differentiates Lyft as the ride sharing service that cares about its drivers. Lyft shows appreciation and understands that drivers have passions they’re pursuing, and it allows them to focus on that.
