Hothouse is looking for a part-time People + Culture Operations Associate who has a strong customer support orientation and thrives in driving efficiency through people-focused processes. You will play a key role in support to our People + Culture and Facilities functions using your clear communications, organizational skills, and people-first mentality. You are key to the on-time, delivery of services across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute transactions in our HRIS (Thread/Bamboo HR)
- Maintain various reports within HR and in collaboration with Finance
- Assist employees with queries related to benefits, payroll, policies, and processes
- Coordinate exit interviews and manage the offboarding process
- Post jobs, and ensure the ATS is updated with relevant candidate information
- Schedule candidates with HR and hiring managers and be a consistent point of contact throughout the recruiting process
- Conduct weekly timesheet review and prepare entries for payroll processing
- Event coordination, including employee engagement, wellness and benefit events
- Benefits administration and reconciliation
- Field external queries and employment verification requests
- Is the go-to for how to complete HR processes – keeps information updated and directs employees as appropriate
- Assist with creation, distribution and collection of feedback from company-wide surveys
Requirements
- 3+ years in an HR support role with a passion for customer support
- Pro-active problem solver with the ability to develop strong relationships with team members at all levels
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to improve processes
- Skilled in managing multiple deliverables simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Full-suite MS Office experience
