Branded content helps lands Secret Life of Pets 2 at the top of the box office
There’s nothing more powerful than the halo effect of being associated with a hit TV show. HGTV’s high-ranking home renovation series provided the perfect branded content opportunity for Secret Life of Pets 2 ahead of its opening weekend, and the Property Brothers: Forever Home series premiere. The Hothouse Content Studios crew concepted, scripted, shot and edited three branded content pieces that featured the antics of Jonathan and Drew’s pets, clearly showing that renovation skills run in the family. The campaign ran in the weeks leading up to both the film and series’ premieres helping to land both at the top in terms of box office earnings and ratings, respectively.
