Leveraging video to help drive 64% lift in sales for specialty CPG products

Zep’s specialty drain care products—Advanced Kitchen, Bathroom Sink, and Tub and Shower Drain Opener Gel—tackle consumers’ toughest clogs. But in a confusing and crowded marketplace, we needed to quickly educate and drive to purchase via Zep’s priority online retailers: Amazon and HomeDepot.com.

Campaign generated 5M+ total impressions

Working hand-in-hand with our media partner Vert, we crafted a robust, paid social and search strategy, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Google. This helped drive our production strategy and allowed us to better plan for shooting efficiencies knowing where and how the assets would be utilized. After concepting, scripting, shooting and editing three pieces, we sliced and diced the videos into still images, GIFs and short-form content to reach our targeted audiences.

Responding to COVID in the era of clean

Soon after the pandemic began, Zep reached out for our help. Their sales teams were struggling to position their products within the new and somewhat confusing cleaning protocols for a variety of industry sectors including transportation, education and industrial. We developed an identity for their 3-step system and applied it to a series of sales presentation materials designed to facilitate more productive conversations and generate sales of their product bundles.
